Can’t make traffic go away, but they can help us go around it. Dash downloads data via wifi or the cellular network relevent to the area you are in.

Dash supports a MyDash portal that allows individuals to send information directly to the car. Unlike other GPS systems, Dash lets you choose multiple routes that shows distance plus estimated travel time based on actual travel information. The beauty, each Dash device sends anonymous data to cultivate data on the traffic - wow!

Dash allows you to search Yahoo! Local right from the device. Perhaps there’s future integration for other search services?

Dash will be priced competitively and will cost as much as a satellite radio service once your free trial has run.
